Many of the improvements made in Madison’s parks are the result of individuals or groups who saw the need and got to work channeling neighborhood energy and support. If you have some good ideas about improving a neighborhood park, the Madison Parks Foundation and the Madison Parks Division are here to help.
Take a look at a guide of best practices for Neighborhood Park Fundraising. In this guide, you will learn some helpful hints and methods that have helped other neighborhood groups fundraise and improve their neighborhood park.
Be sure to contact the Madison Parks Foundation to discuss your ideas. Staff will work with you with the appropriate steps to have your project move forward.
